I have always valued the foundation that Christian education instilled in me during my formative years. With my children attending Timothy, I have another perspective on Christian education as a parent, and I see the importance of Christian schooling more than ever. Timothy’s mission of developing academically prepared Christian disciples describes exactly what I want for my children. I’m excited about the opportunity to serve on Timothy’s board with the goal of furthering this mission for current students and those yet to come.
My education and work experience have provided me with strong problem solving skills. Serving on the board I hope to properly frame issues, discern the key elements of the situation, identify potential solutions, and be decisive in selecting the path that best serves the furthering of the school’s mission.
Members bring their life experiences and God given talents to their role on the Timothy board. As such, their contributions will be unique and their perspectives may differ. Yet common goals, such as guiding students in their faith and preparing them with a superior education, will unite the members in purpose. As a result, this diversity becomes a strength for the advancement of God’s plan for our school.
