A Day in the Life of Timothy: 1st Grade Art
The Elementary Art Room is a busy place! At any given time, you will find our students sculpting, painting, cutting, drawing and creating, under the expert direction of art teacher Mrs. Marlene Boonstra.
This week, the first grade classes sculpted a globe plaque, illustrating this year's chapel theme, "This is My Father's World." They were shown how to use the proper techniques and tools. Later, the projects were fired in the kiln so the students could paint their masterpieces. The result: A hand-crafted keepsake for the students to remember "This is my Father's World!"
