Volunteer Opportunities
Timothy is continually blessed by the large number of volunteers willing to help in so many different aspects of the school. If you are interested, below is a partial list of opportunities along with the person to contact.
P.I.E. is a parent-run organization which benefits Timothy through fundraising events like the Auction, and sponsoring new parent orientation and mentoring opportunities. New members are always welcome.

Athletic Booster Club
Fund Raising group meets occasionally to plan and participate in activities to support athletics at Timothy.

Prayer support group meetings every Friday at 8:30 AM to pray for the children, faculty, staff, parents, and activities of Timothy.

Field Trips/Retreat
In an effort to provide the pupils with firsthand knowledge of the various subjects studied during the year, field trips are planned to educational facilities available in the Chicago area. In all cases the students will travel on school buses chauffeured only by licensed personnel and with a sufficient number of adults accompanying the group to assure adequate care for their children. Help is needed in supervising a variety of field trips and/or retreats taken throughout the school year.

Volunteer parent coaches, referees, and officials are needed for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys’ and girls’ basketball games.

Screening Volunteers
Volunteers are needed periodically throughout the year for vision and hearing screening, and spinal screening for the students in the elementary school.
Apple Pie & Banket Days
Two of the more "sweet" traditions at Timothy are Apple Pie Day and Banket Day. Volunteers of all ages join together to make homemade treats, which are sold to benefit Timothy Christian Schools. No experience is needed to help and all willing hands will be given on the job training. Past volunteers report it is a lot of fun!
